Foundation into flight
Project Summary
Project: Learn to be a solo pilot for a glider that uses thermals to stay aloft. These gliders do not have a propellor and are launched by an airtow.
I learned the basics of aircraft mechanics and flight principals at the model scale before applying them to manned flight.
